DO IT YOURSELF BRIDES I quite often receive requests to purchase individual stems by brides who want to make their own bouquets. In their effort to buy stems for DIY they have discovered they cannot find a source for the lovely stems I use in my designs. While I do understand the desire to save on the wedding budget, I cannot sell the stems individually. THIS IS WHY: I have spent many hours searching for sources of high quality flowers to use in my designs. I have found that you must be "in the trade" and must establish a business account with these suppliers. These same suppliers deal with large retailers and sell only in box or case amounts. They also require a large minimum purchase for an order to be processed. For me to sell small amounts to individual brides would require my having a large inventory on hand. Since I do not have a large business or a warehouse to store them this is not possible. It would also be impossible for me to know just what flowers to have in stock since brides' tastes are so varied in styles and colors. The only stems I do sell individually are the hand colored calla lilies. I can offer these since I use so many of them and do keep a small quantity of them on hand when possible. I do apologize, but it simply is not possible for a small business owner like myself to keep big inventory. I do thank you for visiting my website and offer my congratulations on your engagement. |
